Welcome to the Streetsboro City Schools E-Learning Site. We hope to expand the use of this type of advanced technology to enhance traditional classroom instruction and to expose our students to the type of learning environment they can expect as they move forward in their educational career.

  This is a Freshman level course that will provide students with a basic understanding of the major concepts found within Chemistry, Physics and the Earth Science fields. This course also provides a foundation of scientific tools and laboratory skills. Study will include both content acquisition and the performance of a basic level of scientific laboratory skill. Students should be prepared to use Mathematics as a common tool for understanding concepts.

• Cybersafety 2010

  Online Internet safety course for students in grades 5-12.

• Internet Safety, Acceptable Use, Research and Copyright

  The course is designed with two goals in mind 1. to provide sample resources about acceptable use and internet safety that could be utilized in the classroom, and 2. to provide additional resources for teachers looking to teach better research practices to their students.

  This course is for third graders involved in the Lego Enrichment Blended Learning Program.

• Mr Day's STEM Education 7

  The 7^th Grade STEM Education students learn and practice the design process. Utilizing this design approach students understand how design influences their lives. Students learn sketching techniques and use descriptive geometry as a component of design, measurement and computer modeling. Students brainstorm, research, develop ideas, create models, test and evaluate design ideas and communicate solutions. Students use Autodesk Inventor 2013, a solid modeling software (a sophisticated mathematical technique for representing solid objects) as part of their experience in STEM Education.

  This course has been created for the members of the Blended Learning Grant.  All members of the grant team are both TEACHERS and STUDENTS in this course. This is an area where you can work to learn how Moodle works.  When a teacher creates an assignment or other event, the students in the course should attempt the assignment or event.    This course has been set up in the topics format, not the weekly assignment format.
